The healthcare sector, like many other professions, is experiencing significant rates of change and technical disruption.

‘Future proofing’ WA’s public hospital and medical centre precinct requires forethought and planning.  The future healthcare trends are best addressed in a manner that carefully and holistically incorporates master planning processes.

A master planning approach is being used that not only caters to the day-to-day clinical, research and educational services provided, but also takes into consideration the impacts of built form, place, exciting new land uses on site, public transport and the wider context of neighbouring communities. The Master Plan will also have the opportunities to build on the site’s premier location adjacent to Kings Park, being located just 4km form the Perth CBD.

In the coming weeks we’ll be engaging people who work within or are associated with the hospitals, research and education centres co-located within the QEIIMC precinct.  We also want to hear from business, the community and government to create a plan to build a strong future for the QEIIMC campus, and we need your help.
